WHATÂ ISÂ THISÂ COURSEÂ ABOUT?
Discrete Mathematics (DM), or Discrete Math is the backbone of Mathematics and Computer Science. DM is the study of topics that are discrete rather than continuous, for that, the course is a MUST for any Math or CS student. The topics that are covered in this course are the most essential ones, those that will touch every Math and Science student at some point in their education. The goal of this course is to build the mathematical foundation for computer science courses such as data structures, algorithms, relational and database theory, and for mathematics courses such as linear and abstract algebra, combinatorics, probability, logic and set theory, and number theory.
Discrete Mathematics gives students the ability to understand Math language and based on that, the course is divided into the following sections:
-
Sets
-
Logic
-
Number Theory
-
Proofs
-
Functions
-
Relations
-
Graph Theory
-
Statistics
-
CombinatoricsÂ
-
and Sequences and Series
YOU WILL ALSO GET:
-
Lifetime Access
-
Q&A section with support
-
Certificate of completion
-
30-day money-back guarantee
HOWÂ ISÂ ITÂ DELIVERED?
I know visually seeing a problem getting solved is the easiest and the most direct way for a student to learn so I designed the course keeping this in mind. The materials are delivered through videos to make complex subjects easy to comprehend. More details on certain lessons are delivered through text files to provide more explanations or examples. The course is taught in plain English, away from cloudy, complicated mathematical jargon, to help the student learn the material rather than getting stuck on fancy words.
HOWÂ DOÂ IÂ LEARNÂ BETTER?
There are quizzes after each lecture so you can test your knowledge and see how much of the material has sunk in. I suggest you go through each lesson several times to better understand the content.
Who this course is for:
- This course is designed for students majoring or minoring in Computer Science, Mathematics, Mathematics Education, and Engineering.

Hope Asher –
The lectures were clear and the examples were easy to understand. I appreciate this broad overview of the subject material. Just wish we could have extra practice problems for all the topics within this course.

I think that it covers a lot of topics to a decent extent, sufficient for a precursor preparation for basic discrete maths. Would have liked more depth into tricky components like graph theory and number theory (i.e. modulo arithmetics, etc.)
Abu Talha –
It is really fantastic course, each and everything well explained from basic
Fabio Russo –
The instructor is able to teach the subject clearly but there are quite big problems with the course (which I have completed anyway):
1 There are very few exercises and frankly (only the first section has a PDF of exercises attached), the instructor wrote a long time ago that he would add them, he never did.
2 The Q&A section is almost deserted compared to other courses.
3 I’m sorry to say, but the bad handwriting is sometimes confusing to the point of not being sure what formula you are looking at.
I can recommend the course, because the instructor as I said is really capable, but I would also like to see that the course is updated and improved.

This is a great course for learning discrete math. Miran Fattah is a great teacher. He takes full responsibility to make you understand all concepts. He presents every concept in an easy and interesting manner through examples, definitions and questions . Every lecture is followed by a quiz to test your understanding.
Although this course doesn’t contain all topic of a college-level discrete mathematics course, it is enough for getting started with discrete math with confidence and stop fearing the subject. After completing this course, you will be able to learn some advance topics of discrete math on your own.
This course has hundreds of practice problems in quizes. Some sections also have extra problem sets with solutions.
This is for Miran. Please add those extra problem sets for all sections, and more advance topics in the course. And thank you so much for this course.
Jim –
really clear and delivered in a simple and easy to understand some difficult math concepts! Enjoyed it, hopefully can see more of your course like more advanced level course!
Saivenkat Senthilkumar –
The course is a very good introductory material to start your journey into discrete mathematics. This course is not meant to go super in depth in various topics that is do not expect proofs to be shown and more advanced level topics to be discussed. It acts as a foundation to start your discrete mathematics journey and on that note it delivers.

Like material and how the lector tell about sets and numbers . Concise and informative

This is a great course covering a lot of topics. You can definitely start your Discrete Math journey with this course.
Wing Kian Yap –
Even you can’t cover all the main idea in Discrete Maths, however I think it is enough for me to go through the fundamental
Lars-Kristian Fredriksen –
Score for being relative to subjects Im rehearsing and the material is really easy to follow.. I am enjoying this course, thank you!

The instructor has a fantastic grasp of the subject material and explains it in a way that is easy and makes sense. As others have stated, the only real con is the handwriting is sometimes a bit messy which can distract from the material but over-all would definitely recommend for anyone like myself going through Discrete Mathematics in school.
