This course is so interesting and informative/ empowering. It is not always easy to work with children or to understand their level of thinking. This course gives you the tools to handle them.professionally.
Brittany Thies –
Interesting material to consider and learn from – I believe this would be more accurate being a continuing education course, or an open framework for it, as some of the concepts may not be easily utilized or understood by those entering the course as a beginner. Additionally, there is room for further in-depth information around the subjects as a whole. Overall, good work and material overview, clean presentation style, with good references and studies used to back information up.
Karen Ward-Brandy –
I did learn about the impact of bullying, however the sound on the video’s are very low and made it difficult to hear. Plus on completion of test I could not obtain my certificate
Genette Buclatin –
It’s a good introduction and could be improved with more examples on how to handle actual sessions.
Susan Chen –
Although I’d like more details and examples of the topics discussed and the information on the slides can be organized a bit better (my personal preference), the instructor has made it simple and easy to digest and has included a broad range of information you will need to know. She seems approachable and helpful as well. I find the topic fascinating and am eager to keep learning! If you ask me, I would recommend the course for whomever is interested in finding out what counseling children and adolescents is all about.
