I’ve played guitar for years now, but have never had the patience to learn to read music. That is why I am taking this course. I also want to learn to pay the bass and melody together which is what classical solo guitar is about. This course takes you through what you need as a beginner. Some of the lectures are a little long for the content and it takes a while to pick up the pace. However, it’s good information and when you are learning you want to go over the information until you know it. I will be taking all his courses and it was also worth it to hear his book recommendations for continuing my learning.

PERFECT! Slowly teaches you guitar and music theory at the same time. Does not bore you with too much theory or overwhelm you with too much practice. PERFECT balance!! best course on guitar Ive tried!

A good course , that is hurt by the lack of consistent resources. Some exercises have full pdf files and some just don’t. It’s much easier for someone learning to just open a pdf and look at the exercise as opposed to go to a specific point in the video every-time you want to practice.
Not to mention the benefit of being able to print the pdf’s.

I think it’s put together very well

So far, a nice slow approach. The slower you go, the faster you learn.

I have been a self taught classical guitarist for many years. I recently decided to take a systematic approach to improve my playing. Yes, there are several basics – including the rest stroke and how to properly hold the guitar – that I never learned! I look forward to continuing with these courses.

This course has changed my (musical) life! Hani is an amazing teacher and his very calm, methodical lessons make everything seem approachable and un-intimidating. I went from not knowing how to read music to knowing how to sight read and play some pieces confidently and with much enjoyment. It’s been a fantastic journey, and I can’t wait to keep going. Thank you Hani!
