This is an excellent course that gives a comprehensive overview of why things are the way they are, which is particularly useful for understanding characters. It is a very usable system, which allows you to immediately engage and explore Mandarin.

These two levels are magnificent. I really appreciated the content, I found that I learned a lot, and was quite capable reading the end chapters for each section. I will definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a solid start and foundation to learn Chinese. I look forward to continuing my studies over at DominoChinese.com 🙂 Thank you.

A incredibly awesome course. Its fun as much as its useful, it really doesn’t seem like you are learning a complex and difficult language, and I could start reading and understanding things in chinese faster than I’ve expected.

I really like how Felix teaches; the content is really sticking to me. However, I gave a 3 star rating, because there are so many errors that he notes that he could easily fix before posting the video. I understand that he’s probably working to get a lot of content out there, but it’s very unprofessional and could lead to students pronouncing things wrongly just from his lack of editing. Other than that, I admire the lengths he will go to teach Chinese.

This is one of the best Chinese classes I have taken. The fun videos with Felix and Ann are much more enjoyable to watch than other courses. Several features really worked for me –> bite sized lectures, character break-down, helpful summary at end of chapter, and stories that reinforce learning. Really great job – subscribing now to Domino Chinese!

Felix has always done an awesome job providing explanations and descriptions for everything in his language courses. Provides little skits to make things far more memorable and also breaks down each written character into it’s smaller forms to help you better recognize and understand the written form of mandarin as well. Great stuff, Felix and An! Thank you!

Very well suited…lessons are not too long so content can be repeated immediately

The way that the material is presented, the order, and the whimsical manner does help me to remember the sounds and characters more easily.
