This course is for anyone who owns the Canon 6D body be it brand new or since it was first released.
I have been shooting professionally with Canon cameras for over 7 years have several Canon DSLR bodies that I shoot with regularly. When I first get a new camera I generally do some initial setup of the camera, check out some of the new features and then start shooting with it. Over time I will return and explore the new features, functions, and capabilities and often times will discover something I didn’t know existed or forgot was new with the body I am using.
I recommend this course for anyone interested in getting the most out of their Canon 6D.
Who this course is for:
- Anyone who has a DSLR or is thinking about getting one
- Anyone who is not getting the images from their DSLR that that expect
- Anyone looking to get out of Auto mode and start using the modes (Manual, Av, Tv, …) of their camera that will give them more freedom to take the pictures they want and not rely on the camera to guess what they want.

Janet Fung –
Very clear and detailed description on Canon EOS 6D. It covered areas that I have never known and provided a very systematic way to get acquaintance with the camera. If you are switching from a point and shoot camera, you will get along with the 6D easily. Thanks, John!

Very informative course and easy to follow.
It gave me a good insight and knowledge of what the canon 6D camera can do.

Sometimes the steps necessary to achieve a setting would be helpful.
Good intent but lacking in execution

This course is what the description says, a complete review of all the buttons, menus and settings on the 6D. It gives you an idea of all the available options you have and gives some recommendations. It is NOT a basic photography course. One reviewer said the sound was poor but I was able to understand him fine and I have mild to moderate hearing loss.

This is the best user guide you could possibly have. I bought this camera and felt like I was way out of my depth and thanks to this course I am now able to confidently able to use the many functions of the camera.
Terry S Lawrence –
A lot of good information provided, and helped me get more familiar with my camera. Mine is a 6D Mark II, which made a little bit of difference, but I was able to pause the lecture and find it on my camera. I especially enjoyed the part on the histograms, and the exposure triangle and felt those worked good for me.

Great information overall. The one thing I wish had been covered in more detail was Auto Exposure Bracketing and how to best utilize it on this camera.
