Though we loaded Guyoga with modifications for men, what that really means, is that we loaded it with modifications for anyone who has tight shoulders, tight hamstrings, and for those who may not be able to touch their toes.

    Thorough elaboration on the various poses. Well paced for the beginner. Would recommend having abit of background in bodyweight exercises before attempting the lessons. Instructor Dean Pohlman emphasizes on the importance of Posture and Proper muscle tension. However, placing further emphasis on breathing would be great! Still an amazing course for those new to Yoga. Highly recommend it! A thank you to the instructor for laying the course out well!

    I have done a few different “beginner” yoga lessons on YouTube in the past and got disheartened by not being able to do about 80% of them and then quitting after a couple of times. Since starting this course I have been doing yoga 5-6 times a week. The workouts are short enough that it only takes a small part of your day. They are accessible enough that even people as inflexible as I am can (kind of) do them. They are simple enough, in the sense that there are just 4 workouts which, despite other courses having 40 hours, this keeps it nice and simple and teaches the fundamental movements. I can already touch my toes for the first time and my back pain has reduced dramatically. Highly recommend everyone to try this course.

    It is a good starting point for people who are just getting into yoga. It is particularly helpful for those who suffer from heightened muscle stiffness. Dean does a great job of going through the workouts at an easy, yet, steady pace.

    yes, taking in to account as a novice to yoga, tight hamstrings and lower back and still overweight and bad knees- this has been the best , low impact strengthening and flexibility course I’ve come across – kudos to Dean, thank you!!

    For someone that sits for long periods in front of the computer this course was a game changer, it added a lot of awareness for my body motion and ameliorated many parts of my body balance that improved my lifestyle since then. What I love about this series is the no nonsense straight to the point workout and awareness of the goals that you are trying to reach, i can’t recommend this enough

    I enjoyed the yoga sessions. All the postures are explained in slow manner enhancing the understandability.
    I want to highlight the fact that these workouts soothes lower back pain alot as I was diagnosed with osteophytes in my vertebrea so I had to quit cardio for some time, in that time period these workouts helped me alot to reduce the pain and help strengthen the muscles and spine.
