It was a good course, but when I read the title that included the term, “Canon SLR”, I was expecting that it would go deeper into the various controls, settings and buttons of the camera. This is more of a photography fundamentals course applicable to any DSLR.

Excellent course. Every part very well explained. The concept of why light is so important, The Aperture, the Shutter speed details, the Dial Modes, all very well explained. I didn’t realise how important the “P” mode is and the flexibility it offers! I assume one of your other courses will cover the ISO in some detail. Thank you so much for the course. I am going to check out what other courses you have!

As a complete beginner I didn’t know how to begin to come out of auto mode. I now feel more confident about trying out the different modes.

JP’s did an excellent job overall with the course and his explanations of aperture and shutter speed were excellent. If you have a new Canon camera or like use have an older cannon that you have never learned to use then take this course. We highly recommend it. The part of clearing the camera’s settings back to factory settings was a bit fast and confusing. Once again we found this course more than worthwhile and highly recommend it.

I am trying to learn photography. It is my passion! This course helped me learn about lighting, colors, exposure. I enjoyed the exercises & the teacher is easy to understand. Taking another course after this. Decently priced and you are helping me tremendously!
Jodie Wilsker –
Very informative. Would have been more helpful to have more visual explanation explaining the modes and what to look for on the camera. I had to go back a few times to rewatch key moments.
Tiara Mitchell –
I had to watch these videos several times before I could receive a check mark on each course that was completed..

Being a beginner and watching a lot of videos, I always learn something. This course was no exception.

The course though very basic as exactly what i needed to understand my camera. I was having trouble in understanding aperture and shutter speed and while i still need practice i am way more clear about the two. I would recommend this course to every beginner photographer. It will make your life easier.
