AND HERE’S WHAT YOU GET INSIDE OF EVERY SECTION:
Videos: Watch over my shoulder as I solve problems for every single math issue you’ll encounter in class. We start from the beginning… I explain the problem setup and why I set it up that way, the steps I take and why I take them, how to work through the yucky, fuzzy middle parts, and how to simplify the answer when you get it.
Notes: The notes section of each lesson is where you find the most important things to remember. It’s like Cliff Notes for books, but for math. Everything you need to know to pass your class and nothing you don’t.
Quizzes: When you think you’ve got a good grasp on a topic within a course, you can test your knowledge by taking one of the quizzes. If you pass, great! If not, you can review the videos and notes again or ask for help in the Q&A section.
Workbooks: Want even more practice? When you’ve finished the section, you can review everything you’ve learned by working through the bonus workbook. The workbooks include tons of extra practice problems, so they’re a great way to solidify what you just learned in that section.
HERE’S WHAT SOME STUDENTS OF BECOME A LINEAR ALGEBRA MASTER HAVE TOLD ME:
-
“Another fantastic course. Provides an academic foundation of linear algebra to prepare for applied or programming-based courses.” – Christopher C.
-
“I have no words to thank Krista for this amazing course, I was really overwhelmed because I had to take a test for a class I couldn’t attend and I didn’t know anything about linear algebra and surprisingly this course was what I needed, reading the notes before watching the video helped to understand by myself and when I was lost the video content was a great resource, I got a 9 out of 10 in the test, so I highly recommend to take this course, Krista is such a good teacher.” – Alan M.
-
“I started out as a math major in college, and dropped my major during linear algebra. I wish I had this class and this instructor in college. I might have stuck with my major.” – Eric L.
-
“Notes are great, explanations are clear and starting from the beginning. Terrific so far.” – Phil T.
-
“Very clear and has not skipped any steps. If the rest of the course is like this, I will pass my class with no problem.” – Brandon P.
-
“Really well structured and well explained, and there are plenty of exercises to reinforce the knowledge.” – Ashfaque C.

Before taking this course, everyone MUST watch the free “Essence of Linear Algebra” series by Grant Sanderson (3Blue1Brown) on YouTube.

This video series has incredible visualizations and will help you get an “intuition” for Linear Algebra, but it will NOT TEACH it to you anywhere near completely.
Then you should take this Krista King course.
She does an excellent job, as always, at walking you through how to solve problems, and giving you practice problems and quizzes that will actually allow you to apply and learn the material for yourself. This is a very high-quality course.
I’m a bit disappointed that she doesn’t take the effort to include any pre-prepared graphics in her lectures, as visuals are really crucial to understanding linear algebra. Her hand-drawn graphics are definitely helpful, but adding some more professional graphics and animations would really bring this course from “quite good” to “excellent”, in my opinion.

Krista, really is a wonderful teacher and this course helped me a lot for my class.Would recommend to students,or simply anyone who wants to learn linear algebra.Great course!!
Felice Loi –
Krista explains quite well but at times I find it the screen board too messy and she forgets to list the terms and say what they are.

Thanks Krista and team, it was such an adventure for me revisiting higher mathematics after such a long time.
I found few topics hard to grasp but that was entirely my cup of tea. I was little rough around the edges. But, later on it make sense after going through course materials and re-watching the tutorial-videos.
It must be an arduous task to explain complex mathematical concepts in simpler way. It takes many round of efforts to make content easily digestible to students. The things we often find easy after watching the video or reading its explanation is often grilled down to us by such teachers who themselves practice/read/understand it first hand so that their student wouldn’t face any issues.
All my questions(even the silliest ones) were cleared by Krista and her team in time.
I am really glad to have found this course.

Fantastic job with the class. The formula of reading notes, watching a lecture, and doing practice problems is highly effective with learning the material.

Thanks for the course Krista. A great refresher for me after not touching linear algebra for about 10 years. Now i can work with my son who has started first year physics. you have clearly put a lot of effort into the course and resources. Also, would be a great assist to someone commencing undergrad comp science or maths.

Actually this is a great course in terms of theoretical aspects but i strongly recommend people to 1st watch ‘3 blue 1 brown’ youtube channel for linear algebra and have a visual idea of what is happening geometrically, then take this course, you will understand more

I’m taking linear algebra and it’s hard to keep up with my professor. Taking this class really helps especially when i need to apply it to Deep Learning or Computer Vision. Please keep learning and teaching. I’ve bought many of your math courses and was able to pass my exams. Thank you very much.

Great course! My favorite part about it is that before each video, there is a document that explains the entire concept. If you’re like me, and you prefer to read and understand than watch a video, then this is the perfect addition. Plus, I loved how there were practice sections between each topic, so we could try out the techniques ourselves. Finally, whenever I submitted questions I had about the course, Team King got back to me within 2 days. 5/5 highly recommended.

I was looking for a way to learn Linear Algebra for my Masters Program. I highly recommend for anyone as a refresher course or if you are like me and taking this for the first time.
Jennie Giangregorio –
Very interesting, but tough course. Alot of concepts to understand, but well explained.

Best tutorial on linear algebra I could find online anywhere. Very comprehensive, to the point, explaining all important topics, complete information in both written and video form. It’s incredible how comprehensive she could make linear algebra in this short amount of units.
