This course is not instead of going to visit a doctor, and we will talk about the situations that need an immediate doctors visit. However unspecific back pain, which is the most common type, should be dealt with when it starts in order to prevent progression. There are a number of ways to treat initially, including physiotherapy, yoga, positional therapy, stretches, as well as medication. We always put medication as a last resort, and feel that properly strengthening your body to deal with the pain is far more effective in the long-term than using medication to quiet down the symptoms.
There are many situations where appropriate steps taken immediately can save lives, prevent future complications, prevent bad situations from getting worse, and make sure that the healing process starts effectively and immediately.
This course will include:
-
Explanations of common types of back pain
-
Some tricks and tips to differentiate between different types of back pain

Jeff and the MedScreen team are such good resources that ultimately save me money and time. By following his physical therapy suggestions I feel strong and more at ease in my moments. I feel like I’m in less pain and it’s such a wonderful thing. I can’t thank them enough or recommend this class enough.

Jeff is a very well spoken and easy to listen to guy so it’s easy to absorb what he has to say. I’m surprised he doesn’t have more ratings because his breakdown of the red flags of back pain in itself was super well done and often overlooked. I’d never heard of them at least. And the workout session he put together is also a great tool that will save me from having to buy a separate exercise video set for now.

While the physical therapy in the course is a little one-size-fits all and so not everyone will be able to do it depending on your level of pain, there is still a variety of movements that you can pick and choose to incorporate into your daily schedule. And all the theory in the course is already a case by case basis because it goes through a bunch of possible sources for backpain and what treatments to think about so no matter what, I think you’ll find it helpful.

I wish I had known this information much earlier in life, so that I could have completely avoided the situation I’m presently in. However better late than never 🙂 I didn’t recognise that emotional reasons such as job satisfaction or sleep deprivation could be a cause for the back pain but it makes real sense. The content is apt, concise, just adequate to hold the interest and to get the desired results. Thanks a ton DR.Jeff

Indeed the course is valuable!
Just a remark remark regarding the “34. Pushups” section – at certain moments there was a loud music and the voice of the instructor couldn’t be heard. Perhaps this one could be re-recorded.

I really liked the course content and helped me add on to my existing knowledge. Sometime the music was distracting in the background.
