This is a clear concise series of Art History lectures that cover the major works of painting, sculpture, and architecture. My lecture style is casual and clear. I don’t believe in using a lot of jargon or overly complicated language.

Good course… Good professor… If they put subtitles would be better… Also improving the graphic materials, with some 3d things…. (why dont you try sketchup to put som content 3d… it works…. )

Learned a lot of new stuff and ideas in just one lesson. Everything is well structured but the pdf document is written a bit messy, as the pictures are not well positioned in relation to the text, so you might have difficulties understanding where the paragraph starts.

It’s a good match, but the lessons need better context. Why are we starting with this content? What will come later? A better map of the content to be covered in the class is needed

Yes, this meets my expectations. I’m not taking the course for credit, just to gain some understanding of art history. I like the instructor’s engaging comments and insights.

There are way more informative videos on youtube with decent productions. The guy doesn’t even know how to pronounce Çatal Höyük, he keeps saying “Kettle” instead of “Chatal” even though it’s written like that in his slides. That’s not tolerable when the claim is teaching art history.

So interesting – Prof. Explains everything so well. Thoroughly enjoying the course and his previous one. Wish he would record more.

Very detailed overview, takes a bit getting used to, but I am now introduced to concepts I never considered. And the PDFs, certainly help as a reference for review and further contemplation.
