First, i’m already an MacBook, iPad and iPhone user so some of the material was already familiar to me. The way the course components were set up allowed me to zero in on the topics that I wanted to get to and skip the ones that I already knew or wasn’t interested in. The lectures I really enjoyed were the ones on photos and the tips and tricks. More tips and tricks please. Also consider additional lectures on which apps you like and how we can get the most functionality.
Re the speaker, very clear, good pacing and good use of visuals, again especially in the photos lecture.

Did you ever notice how Apple does not publish as many user manuals for their products as their competitors do? True, most people do not read manuals, but it is nice to have a reference. The good thing about Apple products is that they are easy to use and somewhat intuitive. The bad thing about Apple products is that if you rely solely on intuition to use them, you miss out on a lot of cool and useful functionality. That’s where this course fits in. It acts like the “missing Apple manual”. Being familiar with Apple products, I thought I would breeze through this course in a couple of days and maybe pick up 1-2 useful nuggets of information. However, it took me a lot longer than I anticipated. Why? Going through the course, I learned a lot of small things that made a big impact on the efficiency of my interconnected devices. I had to stop frequently and work on optimizing my systems. This was a very valuable course for me and I still have some additional work to do to back up my important files. I liked that this course addressed both personal and business uses and provided us with many resources. The instructor was also very responsive and helpful. I would recommend it to novices and experienced Apple users and anyone who is transitioning from PC to Apple.

This one is a bit out of date now. I am getting some material from it, but it does need to be updated. The middle part is coming along better. I am getting some new information from it. I have finished now and the last 2/3rds were great for me. It is still a bit out of date, but I learned a number of new things which totally met my expectations for the course.
