A really good course that was well worth my money. A lot of information I learned piece by piece. The easiest was probably learning the basics, audio, and titles and a bit of transitions. It’s pretty self explanatory.

After completing this course I feel like I know everything I need about video editing in Adobe Premiere. I’ve got all the theory. From this point, all I need to truly master this software is practice. And I believe that practice is actually the most important part in learning something like video editing. And though this course, again, gives you all the theoretical basis you need, it feels like there really should be more emphasis on practice.
In my opinion, a set of different home assignments would make this course a truly great 5/5 course. For example, when we learn audio leveling, as a home task we get a video with poorly adjusted sound, too loud/too silent parts, background noise etc, and we would need to level it properly and add some background music. When we learn color correction/grading, we would get a video with poor lightning — you get the idea. And as a final exam, we need to construct complete professional-like video from a bunch of assets. Because, unlike some other courses, video editing course can’t avoid practical part — you can’t say that you can edit if you only watched how to do it but didn’t actually try and do it by yourself.
Otherwise, the course was really good, fun and easy-to-learn. Thank you very much, Phil, and I hope that my feedback was useful.

I loved the course but one vitally important issue I ran into was how to organise the windows , dock them , undock them , switch between layouts. Phil did touch on this , but in general I find myself unable to work with premiere as I was unable to effectively organise my workspace layout and am still fiddling with it and unable to proceed with actual editing as a result . If it wasnt for this not being present in the course I found the rest of the material easy to follow and enjoyed learning what I did – good value for money and if this element can be addressed I will happily give this course a 5 star rating but seeing as I am struggling to actually follow along with the tutorials of the course I would rate this a 3.5/5 . Phil is a great instructor , I rewatched the course about 3 times and cant wait to get into it but without being able to organise my windows I am unable to do so .

This is an excellent course to get through basics of video editing.The instructor has structured it properly and I feel like I have learned most of what I wanted to from this course.
I would suggest the instructor to provide content which he is editing as all of it is not given and it is easier to follow when I am also working on the same stuff as you are.Otherwise this is a recommended course for basics.
