Christopher Pearce –
I would have preferred a bit more practical work and some examples of hacking and how to prevent them.
It was still incredibly interesting and may consdier a career in Cyber Security.

Linda de Haan –
Great course! Even of you’re an absolute beginner in cyber security like me. I learend so much already and I’m curious about volume 2. Would be even better if there were some more practical homework assignments or tests at the end of each chapter, but other than that, great content!
George Stavroulakis –
Very basic course. It will help non IT people understand some key concepts. I would prefer a more “lab” approach. But it is a pretty good theoretical and introductory course.
Mohamed Jibly Sheik Davood –
This has been an Awesome course. Very comprehensive and practical. There are lots of nuggets of tips and tricks. I can’t want to start the volume 2 of this course. Highly recommended for people who wants to learn Cyber Security from scratch.

Very well put together course. Extremely high value. Only two slight minuses: 1. it came out a few years ago and screenshots etc. have started looking a bit dated. 2. for this reason, some of the resource links could use an edit and an update as well. Thx for a fine course Nathan, see you in section 2!
Lee Pelletier –
This course is a wealth of information. Very good content.
1. Nathan’s delivery is flat and academic. This is not entertainment but practical knowledge. If you want to be entertained, Nathan’s delivery may disappoint you. However if you want excellent content, Nathan’s great.
2. If you just go through the course you may think it didn’t contain much. Nothing could be further from the truth. Each segment contains so much to unpack. You really should stop after each segment and explore what was discussed. Someone else can’t do that for you. After the segment on script kitties, go explore what’s available to hackers. It’s really eye opening what the extent of the problem is. After the segment on virtual machines, go download BOTH Virtual Box and VMWare. Do it. It’s practical experience. You’ll soon find that each 6 to 12 minute segment contains hours of additional work and hands on experience.
3. Think a segment doesn’t apply to you? Think again. Really spend time with this. I was thinking at first that I wasn’t that interested in privacy. And then (ding!) the bell went off how privacy is essential for enhancing security. If I had skipped those segments, I never would have understood that. I thought I was bored … until suddenly he had my rapt attention.
Highly recommended.
