As a beginner, I am grateful to Jose and his team for putting together such an amazing course. For someone who was totally new to both Python and Data Science, this has greatly helped me in understanding the concepts of Python for Data Science and Machine Learning.
Sudharsun K –
A great course for beginners, would have been nice if Jose explained the math behind ML model. Nevertheless a good value for money! Thanks Jose!
ENCH 4A –
I personally like how this course was taught from basics to installation to topics that we will surely use in our careers. Thank you for this opportunity to learn.
Berly Alejandro Baca Reyes –
Great course with many interesting topics new for me. Thank you
Adrian Imanuel –
The course is pretty thorough, and Jose explanation is easy to digest, but I encourage others to dig more information through stackoverflow to complements the lectures… hope I can land a job using this
Oleksandr Churiumov –
Very comprehensive course covering wide variety of topics related to data science. Took me some time to complete, but it was completely worth it. Big thanks to Pierian Data and Jose personally for such an amazing work creating this course!
Pierre Avenant –
Great introduction to the worlds of data science and machine learning. Course is well structured.
Ioannis Fotogiannopoulos –
Truly great course, even though it touches some more advanced topics not so much in-depth BUT if it would it would be a 50 hour course. Still i learned a TON and i started from zero with only some very basic Python knowledge. Really grateful. Recommended 100%.
Simone Gennaioli –
Amazing Course for broadness of contents and for the continuous exercises, useful for the student to familiarize with learnt contents. Highly recommended!

A complex course on both technologies (Python and Data Science related libraries) and disciplines (Programming, Statistics and Math). The information is overwhelming and even it has 25 hours in my opinion it’s just scratching the surface. It’s a great start in Data Science. I found a lot of concepts and programming techniques new for me.
Even I’m a day to day programmer (PHP Developer) and I have a Computer Science degree, an informatics high school and I’m programming since 1999 (system and client server architectures) it’s a tough course, especially the 2nd part (Machine Learning). This is because besides programming skills you need to achieve Stats knowledge which is not so common.
One recommendation for this course and for future courses is to use fixed packages versions. This is because methods and parameters change and backward compatibility is not always respected. Eg: on Anaconda 4.10.3 for method “pd.read_excel” the “sheetname” param used on the course notebook became “sheet_name”.

Jose is one of the best instructors for Python on Udemy. There isn’t anything pretentious about his approach. The explanations and examples are clear and precise. He’s great for all of us who have to actually use this stuff.
Thanks
Jorge Sebastian Mora Lara –
very good course, explains the basics of machine learning and data analysis very well
