Stephane’s course is awesome, and I was able to pass SAA-C02 (with 830 score) 2 days back. I didn’t use any other course for preparing. Spent about 2 weeks to complete the course (part time), but also took Jon Bonso’s and Stephane’s practice test courses later. My first practice test, I flunked, but after learning the ropes testing with timer, elimination techniques, and reviewing this course one more time, reading some random FAQs, Blogs on AWS, my practice test scores improved a lot. Just FYI, here are the scores. Stephane’s SAA Practice Test scores for 6 exams – (66%, 81%, 84%, 84%, 86%, 84%), Jon Bonso’s test scores (75.38%, 72.31%, 84.62%, 83.08%, 76.92%, 80%). Also reviewed some examtopics.com questions.
Taking exam online was not a good experience. Ran into issues with Online proctoring, with not being able to start the OnVue exam system properly, and having network issues etc. Then taking pictures through computer’s camera as Pearson’s mobile site, didn’t work properly on my phone. Was running late into exam, and anxiety building up etc. The proctor gave a warning for mumbling, even when I was mostly silent, and then another warning when I even moved a little during exam (saying I have to be in the middle of the camera frame). Surely took a toll on my score, I think. It was more of focussing with these irritants, and answering the questions within the time. I barely had 2-3 mins before I answered all questions. Couldn’t review those I flagged. I thought for a moment, I failed, until I saw the final screen saying PASS. I was expecting ‘just passed’ score of 720, but surprised it was 830. Thanks to Stephane for this outstanding course. He updated it even when I was still reviewing the course the 2nd time around. Just awesome.

This course covers all the topics from exam prospective, didn’t go through any whitepaper or any other resource. Now preparing for developer and sysops. You might need to go through this course twice to have better understanding or to be more confident.

Very good course….Don’t expect to learn and understand all of it on the first watch through, I would recommend 1 pass at the normal speed and second/third with x1.5 speed…Passed my cert with this course alongside the practice exams done by Stephane.

TLDR: Good, I recommend. I took this course knowing nothing about AWS. High level overview of services made it easy to understand concepts. However, I didn’t feel like it was enough to pass the cert. I also took the Cloud Guru course and then Adrian’s. CG has good UI but its similar to this course. Adrians is much more in depth and goes more indepth. For Stephane’s course I wish that he took a little more time to explain answers to quiz questions rather than GOOD JOB. There are typos and grammatical errors, which as a professional product being sold, should be addressed (in the quizzes. I dont mind them during the lectures). I got over them but sometimes I had to double back to understand. Also, the Q&A is not very well managed. Overall, I do recommend the course.
