I think Stephen is doing an awesome job in explaining React/Redux. I enjoyed the whole course. Some people said this is an outdated course. Indeed, it’s a bit outdated because React/Redux is rapidly updatting, you cant expect Stephen to update the course for you everyday when you only pay $13.

This is the best React course on Udemy. Everything is explained in great detail. The lecturer makes everything easy to understand. The projects are very good and interesting. Great job Stephen

One impressive advantage to me is that this guy explains abstract notions in an intuitive way. This is really important and make the front end appearing simpler than it actually is. Great work!

This course is good but getting old. There are patches and fixes at multiple places. Steven needs to redo this course entirely with larger focus on hooks, react final forms, next.js and typescript. Other instructors like Max have already done that.

It’s a good course, but there aren’t enough examples of other things that are used. For example – withRouter is something that I’m seeing in one of my projects which comes from react-router-dom. It seems to play a large role in the project but there’s nothing mentioned about it in the course. It is a good course though & I would recommend it.

I appreciate the level of detail on which the topics were being presented. The diagrams were very helpful, the examples used were practical. Overall, I was able to gain a much better understanding of React.

The best course on Udemy to get started with React. Stephen dives deep into the most fundamental concepts of React in a visual style so the information presented lends itself to be retained. There’re a few cases where the section is outdated, but Stephen provides notes and solutions before each outdated section so that the student can calibrate his/her environment accordingly. I think the pros outweigh the cons immensely, so I didn’t redact any stars from my review due to outdated sections. All information in this course is still relevant to anyone who’s getting started with React.

Great and very well taught course. The content is presented in a good pace and with rich details. The only thing I’d add to the course is more exercises and some challenges so students may test their skills. Anyway, totally worth your time and money.

fantastic course for React and Redux especially the dig-in of some critical points. Definitely worth the time and go through two or three times before kicking off your own project or stuck by ignoring details
