I teach Economics because it fascinates me. Because it is the study of human behavior. Economics isn’t about data and graphs and problem sets. It is the study of people and their story and their history and the forces of society that we are born into. It provides us with an understanding of ourselves. It is not hyperbole to say that a thorough understanding of economics enables us to better understand the human condition. I truly believe that.
As a former Peace Corps Volunteer, a graduate of Duke University, and someone who has been fortunate enough to have traveled to over 55 countries around world, you will see how those experiences shape my teachings of Economics. Economics is the study of human behavior; and it is as a result of that behavior that economists have something to put into data charts and diagrams to study. Don’t ever forget that!
I am looking forward to being a part of your studies if Microeconomics!

As someone that is not pursuing a career or formal education in economics, I find this course very well done, easy to follow and intriguing. I’m just looking for a well rounded understanding of economics and thus far in the course Brad has done a great job of distributing that knowledge. I will be purchasing his other courses based on the merit of this one.

Thank you, I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wishes to learn the basics of economics. I am an economic student, yet I found this course to be very useful. After the first few videos, I have subscribed to other economic courses of Mr. Cartwright’s.
Thank you once again professor and looking forward to learn more from your macroeconomics course.

You can teach anything. Your tone, your energy is so positive and uplifting. I have you on 1.25 speed which is slower then my normal 1.5 speed. Keep up the great work.

I don’t usually leave extensive reviews of the training I attend. However, this time I felt it was necessary.
I am an industrial engineer; during my professional career I have always longed for a better understanding of economics, but lacked the opportunity to attend a formal education. Of the countless essais and tutorials I have tried to fill this gap, this training is the one that has allowed me to structure my thoughts in an economical manner. I sincerely enjoyed everything: the pace, the setting, the method and even the occasional mistakes…worth every moment and every penny…let’s say this course definitely maximized my utility ?. So, I thank you very much for that, Sir. I won’t go through the shortcut of saying “you were born a teacher” although it is clearly your thing, for that wouldn’t pay credit to the huge amount of work you must have put into getting there. But know that you have made me intrigued by this wonderful social science more than ever. I can’t wait to start the macroeconomics course. If you can give advice for a book to keep it up (even one with exercises), I would really appreciate that. Kindest regards.

Excellent. 1, Usually I feel very tire after watching Udemy course for 20 min. However, I don’t feel tire with this course even after 1 hr. 2, I thought economics could be boring. This course is fascinating. 3, I thought it could be difficult. The instructor guides it so easy to follow. 4, Bonus. The instructor is so energetic & engaging. I learn communication skill & body language too.

So far, so good. The contents are awesome, the teacher has an engaging style of delivery. I would like some quizzes by the end of each unit to help consolidate the learning.

It’s a very good course that there is no doubt about. I do wish there was some sort of small quiz. Just so that I can make sure I am using the knowledge taught. Still wonderful course. Have to looking over my notes constantly about the PPC diagram.
