First, the course gives an introduction on various definitions and
tasks used in Petroleum Economics including the definition of a project, feasibility study, types of projects, how to perform a feasibility study.
The introduction also illustrates how to determine crude oil/ end products prices, marketing, oil & gas companies.
The second portion of the course discusses Upstream projects and how to conduct a feasibility study using different economic parameters.
While the third portion introduces midstream economics involving the process in midstream, identifying processing units, design and selection criteria for surface facilities.
The last portion of the course is downstream economics, it gives a detailed explanation about the process steps in the downstream segment, also discusses refinery plants, how they operate and how to make a downstream feasibility study.

Clarity of content is good for students. Although quality of explanation can be improved. Technical content is fairly up to the mark but the presentation of financial information needs improvement.
Definitely recommended for students seeking future in the Oil and Gas industry. Young Technical professionals should also check this out to develop a greater understanding of the field.

I found that this course was very detailed in its information for the most part but it is quite dry in regards to the delivery. Instructor seems very intelligent and knowledgeable but it could benefit from a revision to the presentation.

The course content is alright but unfortunately, the lecturer was a little bit lax on the delivery of the materials for after-hours studying( no slides from lectures 8 through the very last one!) and many explanations were just too vain. Interaction should improve so that classes are not as boring as they were for me.
