I’ve been through so many online courses I have to begin with how good this one is!
It’s a very well structured course covering all the basics and more advanced items. It takes a little while to get use to the concepts of Scrivener if you’ve been using Word like I have.
Because it was packed with so much information I found myself going through lessons more than once or twice.
I also found it useful to mimic the actions at the same time I was creating my own work. To do as well as listen and watch is vital if you want to retain the information.
Scrivener is certainly amazing at pulling everything together in one project without having folders floating everywhere on your desktop.
David’s style of tutoring is at the right pace for any beginner or intermediate learner.
David’s course would have been even better if he’d touched on a bit more troubleshooting of Scrivener. e.g. if you use the novel template and try and use it as a blank template their might be problems when compiling it. As he has used this program for some time he has insight in to a lot that might go wrong when using it if you stray from the beaten path.
Otherwise a brilliant course.
