In general the course is pretty basic. I liked how the instructor used one scene across the shots section to illustrate how they can be used together to tell the story. But aside from that the information is very superficial. Not a good value for the money.

This class is an excellent addition to any college courses you may have already taken in cinematography or photography. A lot of real world experience can be learned through these courses that most schools leave out.

Very concise and helpful explanations of concepts. I’ve worked on sets (but not as a DP) and watched many other videos and taken other courses but this one clearly addressed topics that I felt others glossed over.

I think he’s taking it at a steady pace and really explaining the basics without getting dwelt down in the minute details. It’s a valuable course thus far.
