The course is based on real world experience and provides a practical approach to urban survival. Section 2 (building your own survival system) is probably the most valuable and equally applies to all other survival or stressful situations.

Rich is an excellent facilitator. His knowledge and wisdom are first class. His no nonsense presentation style is fitting for the subject matter. This is the next best thing to attending Rich’s courses in person.

Very good course. Well explained. I really like the emphasis on mind set and how to deal with emotional factors that occur under stress. I like the “keep it simple” approach – makes it very user friendly and I feel that it gives me more confidence regarding survival.
I also like the emphasis on avoiding reliance on complicated gadgets that can often cease functioning in survival situations.
Excellent instructor – his direct experience really shows !!
Thank You

Outstanding course!!!!! I myself have had plenty of prepping experience through the years, and I hold true the principle that there is ALLWAYS room for more learning, and I did in this course. The instructor presents himself in a highly professional yet down to earth manner. I will be following with volume 2. highly recommend this course to all beginner and experienced.

Generally fine but it’s better to have more demonstrations on let’s say how to set up a fire, purify water.etc.

This was a very practical informational course, it gives you insight into practical situations and the instructor Rich Hungerford, even gives suggestions of materials you can/should have in order to practically apply what is taught. Section 2 was very insightful and I believe one of the most important parts, a survival mindset starts with You, I believe recognizing the need of a strong character in your inner man is essential. I also liked how Rich Hungerford taught a ethical survival mentality. Most will disregard the needs of others around them, or will build a mindset that excludes others, but regarding our fellow neighbors not only fulfills the Golden Rule, but I believe will help out in the long run as well. Specifically when considering family, close friends and others around you who may have not had the knowledge prior, in hand. The other part of section 2 I liked a lot, was dealing with the Fight or Flight system and learning to “Ride the Tiger”, I believe coming into a place of a sound mind and rest is essential in any survival situation instead of allowing the situations around you to dictate your reactions to a situation. Rich Hungerford definitely gives practical advice in “How To” Use the Fight or Flight system, instead of letting it use you.

I’ve been a “prepper” for quite some time now. This course is exceptional. You’re going to get information and strategies you can actually use. My advice is to purchase volume 2 as well.

Solid, sensible information in a no nonsense presentation. Can vouch for the quality and thoroughness of the info here. Now I’m no soldier nor am I some master of an ancient mystical martial arts tradition traceable back to gods and or royalty. But as just a bloke who largely grew up out bush and spent more than a weekend in a swag, this info is the real deal. Have used these sorts of techniques myself and lived to tell the tale. I never called it prepping or survival, at worst work while out bush and sometimes camping with a fishing rod! My pantry would look rather more familiar to Rich’s grandparents shall we say. Mostly because I like snacks if nothing else. Bought this course and volume 2 already for teaching my wife about such things as she is rather new to such concepts and seeing someone else doing such hocus pocus seems to make it ok somehow rather than all this funny stories from hubby about camping and other silliness… Thanks Rich, keep up the good work.

The instructor speaks with an Australian accent that might be difficult to understand at certain junctures. Becoming prepared to understand the accent would speed up the learning. Overall, the course is well-structured, clear and comprehensive for basic urban survival. I totally enjoyed it. Thank you, Mr Hungerford!
