Learn How 2 Dance – Salsa (Beginner) is a beginner level course teaching you how to dance Salsa and be able to feel comfortable dancing socially. Each lesson will build on the previous lesson and help get your comfortable with being on the dance floor.
No materials or special shoes are needed. Just an open floor and a partner to practice with. This course should take you a couple hours to complete, but it’s definitely a good idea to go over the material again and again to make sure you get it to muscle memory.
This course is a MUST TAKE if you don’t want to be that guy/girl standing on the sidelines while all your friends and coworkers are up dancing having fun.

I liked that the instructor had different variations of the same move (using the different hand holds). Makes for interesting patterns. Very engaging, fun, and interesting. My dance world is now open to a lot of possibilities.

This class is awesome. The instructor explains and demonstrates step by step. He repeats the steps slowly and often while he explains so students can follow without any difficulty. His explanation and demonstration can certainly meet the needs of any student whether you are a fast or a slow learner. I recommend this course and the other two courses, intermediate and advance, to anyone who does not know anything about Salsa dancing and is serious about learning.

For absolute beginners, it is very difficult to figure out all the different things going on in a step…unlike most instructors that just glaze through the details, Darren takes the time to break it all down and show it from multiple angles. Darren, you are an Amazing instructor!!!
One ask i have though is that when you dance with music at the end of each lesson, please put the name of the track on the video screen. This will give the beginners a chance to practice with the music even while not watching the video. Thank you!
