The other wonderful thing – and it’s deceptively important – the teacher has a brilliant balance of show with tell. Too often folks doing courses online talk way too much. If I’m taking something physical, I prefer to see more than hear more. If I wanted a lecture I’d go to Audible. This man speaks just enough to get his point across. And then he puts his real genius into breaking things down, thoughtfully taking the perspective of the student. The course isn’t cheap but it’s not a cent overpriced. Really really worth it. This cat is a stud! Very useful, comprehensive and fun class. If you want to learn bachata this is the class for you! Not just talking but exercises to help to get your groove on the dancefloor! I would give 6 stars if I could!
What would be useful would be at the end, play one entire song and have the instructor do only the basic, bongo, lead guitar and all the other 5 instruments so students can follow along. That would be awesome.
Or better yet, maybe have another video class that student can purchase where it is all about following the instructor the entire song to get the practice in. That being said, this class is PERFECT the way it is. This is a 5 star bachata class INDEED! fb.com/maomambo

At first I felt very clumsy when doing each of the combinations at level 2 and 3 but now after a lot of practice I feel great! All the explanations were very clear, short and to the point.
