Aimed at newcomers to RAW processing, this course, with over 3.5 hours of content, gives you the knowledge you need to take your photos to the next level. Theory, explanation of all the major tools, and 10 extra develop videos (with the RAW files supplied to you for practice) that take you though different workflows. Les Parker –
Another great course from Simon. RAW developing explained thoroughly without all the confusing jargon and terminology that many courses use. I have gained a great deal of knowledge from this course and am impressed with the way that it has improved my images.

This course was very helpful for me. Helped to understand some points, I am just at the beginning of my photo processing and of course I need to practice more. Thank You for lessons!

I bought Affinity Photo several months ago after I acquired a drone with a very good camera. After following this course I’ve been able to dramatically improve the quality of the photo’s I’ve taken.

This was perfect match for me. As long as I’ve been working in Affinity programs, I’m amazed at the things I don’t know! I’m having fun!

I use Capture One for 90% of my image editing but on occasion need to do things that a smarter pixel editor does much better or more easily. It’s doubtful that I will ever develop my raw files in Affinity, but I’m enjoying learning how it’s done while simultaneously refreshing/deepening my own general understanding of digital editing by reviewing the basics once more from ground zero. Simon does a very good job at this and to the point that the software he happens to be using is only a secondary concern.
Maurice –
Heldere uitleg met goede voorbeelden.
Kevin Loomis –

Wow. What a lovely course. Very thorough, presented in a competent and easy to follow manner. I must admit though that I will have to revisit parts of the course till I become super comfortable with evrything. After all, they say, it is a road map and not a book to read. The more you use it the more familiar you will get with it.
I recently purchased my Affinity Photo software. so, had no idea where to start. This course gives me the confidence to get started with developing my RAW images. I am happy with both the Affinity Photo Software and this Udemy course ‘Affinity Photo:’Raw image Development.
Thank you very much for it.
Mark Hankinson –
A good course as an introduction to developing RAW images. A lot of issues de-mistified and the use of the software to get improved picture quality is clearly explained.
Robert Dawkins –
Excellent course as usual
Jan Bieńkowski –

Because it was good but it was not amazing. One thing I want to know is why my JPEG photos are nearly tack sharp, but my RAW images are dull. My Nikon is set to create both JPEG and RAW and its so frustrating. If you would have told me that by now, I would give you 5 stars. I hope this is covered in the next lessons.
