The main reason for the low rating is that his materials are just not current with the field of EFT. He teaches to use Tapping points (like the fingers) that are no longer used.
Second, he is a bit too verbose and grant with his hands constantly moving all over which is very distracting especially for teaching an energy psychology approach.
