Really enjoying the course as it’s bringing structure to my practice and helping me establish a strong foundation for moving forward.
I am now halfway through the lesson and I have to say, I am very impressed with the progression and the instructions. They appear to be designed to stretch (literally) the learner to try a variety of finger picking techniques. I need to exercise my fingers and stretch them so they can reach all the positions indicated in the lesson. Absolutely loving the lesson.
I have to be honest and skipped a couple of the lessons because I wanted to get to ‘Let it Be’; which I thoroughly enjoyed. I have many more practice sessions to go to master the finger movements. My biggest challenge being older is to stretch my fingers over the strings; but, I keep working at it. I have noticed over the last several weeks that my thumb is getting more flexible. THANK YOU!

I’m a first-time guitar player. When my husband asked me what “style” I wanted to learn, I chose fingerstyle because I’m also a piano player and the 2 melodies sound natural to me. My husband (who is a guitar player) researched and listened to several courses and bought yours for me because he really liked your methods. I agree. I really like your teaching style, it’s very laid back and the lessons and exercises are great. I guess the only thing I would wish is to have a short tutorial at the beginning on proper hand positioning for both the left and right hands. I’m only on lesson 11, but I’m worried that I might be “sloppy” in my playing and that it might hurt me down the road.

This course is not self-content. You need to master the skill like slap and kick somewhere else in advance, because the teacher just play along. On the other hand, if you already master those skills, I dont think you need to take this course.
