So far it’s very well done. I find it informative and I like the format. For me personally it would be interesting if they had exercises with enumerated tasks so that I could break down the steps (something like a “1” in the corner as the narrator says “First you want to…” etc. But other than that I’m enjoying myself. It would also be helpful if the video portion was updated to include the latest version of Traktor Pro (I’m using 3.4.2 as I write this) but that’s not a huge problem by any means.

Whenever I’m considering any Udemy course I always read the reviews, starting with the most negative, usually in the 1%; I did that with Max’s course and all I read was reviews from individuals who were too lazy to proactively learn both their DJ controller and TRAKTOR PRO 3 DJ software. Too bad! When I was reviewing the preview lessons prior to purchase, Max explained everything in immaculate detail; it’s obvious that he knows his stuff and is passionate about music and all things DJ. Throughout this course Max explains technical details with great finesse, and without assuming that the learner knows anything about TRAKTOR or DJ’ing. This is obvious a practical course, but will also require the student to roll up their sleeves and learn the craft of DJ’ing. If you’re wanting to be spoon-fed, go back to Kindergarten, but if you’re serious about becoming a DJ, watch the videos, absorb the information, and as all the online DJ forums mention, practice, practice, practice. Thanks Max for a great course and I can’t wait to get started with my DJ rig in my home studio. Grazie mille!
